So, you know what that means!

    ELEVATED TERROR ALERT!

NYC, Jersey, Boston and DC are all now officially at threat level orange.

The Dems got their boost from the DNC this past week, so now Bush has to respond in kind by raising the threat level and using fear to get peoples' minds off of those evil Democrats.

I just fuckin' love living in 1984.

I don't agree with your thoughts on this matter cr0w....Tom Ridge and Homeland Security determine the "threat level"....Bush doesn't determine it

Who's in charge of it, though? Who appointed Ridge and created the department?

Hell, I should've seen it coming, considering all the Ridge retirement rumors floating around. Anything to keep our minds off of the inherent flaws and problems in the system. The best way to keep America's minds off of Big Brother is to scare them into thinking it's necessary.

Let me put it all out on the table here, I don't like Republicans. I don't like Democrats. I don't like politicians. I fucking hate G. W. Bush. The focus on "keeping America safe" is a fucking illusion meant to keep people too scared to force a change. There's no goddamned reason to keep telling the American public that they're in danger and that there could be an attack any minute.

If the fucking American public was seriously in danger, we'd be kept in the dark to avoid panic and chaos.

Please, please, please let Kerry win.

We can't have four more years of that fucking idiot Bush. It doesn't make me feel good when I know that I'm smarter than the President of the United States of America.

I don't want to be smarter than the guy in control of the nation's nuclear arsenal.

    Oh.

    Make that "Nook-u-ler."

I was going to write an extensive rant last night on this entire situation. But I was too fucking exhausted to finish.

Anyway, as it is, the entire political arena is teeming over with absolute horse shit.
We have a reckless child in the oval office, an Attorney General that makes Stalin look like a fucking hippy, and millions of people that enjoy political mind rape, claiming any opposition to the current scenario as "liberal propaganda."

It's sad enough that people have'nt any idea what their constitutional freedoms are, and now they're willing to let go of their freedoms in search of security.
Nevermind the fact that terrorism has been a global problem for the past several decades, so long as the government can feed you shit before you get to the truth.

All that I can forsee, if Bush is re-elected, is
another 4 years of regressive abandonment.

"Through clever and constant application of propaganda people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way around, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise."
    --Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, 1923

The terror alert system serves only two purposes...
    1. It keeps the basic minded citizenry in line by frightening them.
    2. It acts as a means for the Feds to cover their collective ass in the event a real terrorist action occurs.

I hold nothing against Bush himself aside from the fact that he is a rich spoiled idiot.....
I will vote against him in an attempt to thwart the other individuals in his administration that are raping this country of freedoms and wealth...

I was listening to the first speech Bush made after the Democratic Convention was over. This isn't an exact quote, but he said something along these lines:

"They're going to raise your taxes, we won't. We have a clear vision on how to fight the war on terror and bring peace to the world."

I wanted to slap him after I heard that. He might as well have said, "John Kerry is a big fat meany head." Speaking in such vague generalities is such shit. - "They're going to raise your taxes, we won't." - And what exactly is this based on? I mean seriously. - "We have a clear vision on how to fight the war on terror and bring peace to the world." - And what is that vision? How are we going to do that? Oh wait, WE CAN'T. This entire "war on terror" is bullshit. It's intended for nothing but to keep people scared. We're going to go out there and get rid of all the bad guys and make the world safe. Puh-fucking-leeeze. There will always be bad people out there who do bad things. And I'm sorry, but George W. is probably the last man who would be able to change that.

Oh please oh please oh please let Bush lose this election.
